16 oz Beef Steak (Flat Iron, Skirt Stake, Rib Eye, etc.) - approx. 1" Thick
1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
1/4 tsp Onion Powder
1/8 tsp Kosher Salt
Fresh Cracked Black Pepper
Meat Tenderizer (no MSG added)
1 tbsp Butter (salted)


2 tbsp Butter (salted)
1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
6 medium cloves, Garlic, sliced
1 Red Bell Pepper, sliced lengthwise
1 tsp Beef Base (Le Gout brand)
1/2 cup Marsala Wine
1/4 tsp Cornstarch



• Evenly sprinkle Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Salt, Pepper and Meat Tenderizer over both sides of the steak.

• In fry pan, over medium heat, add butter.

• When butter is melted, add Steak. Fry 6 to 7 minutes on each side or until desired doneness.

• Remove from pan and dress steak with sauce.


• Over medium-low heat, add Butter, Oil, Garlic, Red Pepper. Sauté for 10 minutes.

• Add Beef Base and Marsala Wine, reduce heat and gently simmer for 5 minutes.

• Add cornstarch, mix well. Continue cooking for 1 minute or until juice slightly thickens. Remove from heat and pour over steak.


Add Portuguese style potatoes to your meal by cutting 2 potatoes to 1/4" thick slices. Using 2 cups of Vegetable oil in fryer or deep sided pan, heat to 275° - 300° F. Add potatoes and fry for 5 minutes or until done. Remove from oil and drain on a paper towel or paper bag covered dish.
