3 slices Bacon
2 large Onions, sliced
1 tbsp Garlic, minced
1 tbsp Butter, unsalted
1 pkge (12) Pierogies, thawed
Garlic Salt
Pepper to Taste


• In a large sauté pan, brown Bacon on both sides over medium heat, approximately 10 minutes. Remove from pan. Let cool and crumble.

• Remove excess bacon fat from pan, leaving 1 1/2 tablespoons. Reduce to medium-low heat.

• Add Onions. Sauté for 6-8 minutes or until Onions caramelize.

• Add Garlic and continue sautéing for 2 minutes. Remove from pan and set aside.

• Add Butter and thawed Pierogies. Liberally season with Garlic Salt and Pepper.

• Turn occasionally until golden brown on each side, approximately 8 to 10 minutes.

• Add Onions and crumbled Bacon back in. Toss well. Cook until heated through, approximate 2 minutes.

• Remove from heat and serve.
