8 cups Water
1/2 tsp Kosher salt
1 1/4 pound raw Green Beans, cleaned with cut ends
2 tbsp Olive Oil
2 tbsp Butter, unsalted
3 Shallots, sliced
3 cloves Garlic, minced
8 oz Cremini or Baby Bella Mushrooms, cleaned and sliced 1/4" thick
1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
1 tsp Kosher Salt


• In large pot, bring Water and Salt to a rapid boil. Add Green Beans. Blanch for 3 minutes.

• Immediately remove Green Beans from pot and drain. Set aside.

• In large sauté pan, melt Butter and 1 tbsp of Olive Oil together over medium heat.

• Add Garlic and Shallots. Sauté for 2 minutes.

• Reduce to medium low heat. Add Mushrooms. While stirring occasionally, cook for 5 minutes.

• Add remaining 1 tbsp of Olive Oil and Green Beans. Mix Well.

• Add Garlic Powder, Pepper and Salt, mix well and cook for 5 minutes or until Green Beans are heat through.

• Serve hot.
